ALL ON FOUR
History and evolution – alternatives

4 Key Areas

anatomy | mechanics | prosthetics
Implantology – concepts relative
to successful AO4

Patient

selection | case preparation:
– radiographic examination
– impressions/ bite registration
(face bow) – photographic protocol
– medications

Surgery

PART 1

Clinic and Hands-on | 2 day

2 days in the Clinic with (at least)
4 full arch surgeries.

08:00 -12:00 | Live: surgery

12:00 – 13:00 | Live: impression taking

Discussion and explanation:
Protocol AO4

14:00 – 17:00 | Live: Surgery

(Case dependent)

– Manufacturing of the prothesis live with technicians

– Case follow up

Hands-on:

– placement of implants on 3D print patient replicas (ad modum AO4)

– manipulation implants / components (Axiom – Anthogyr | Straumann Group)

Live:

– Fitting of the immediate load prothesis

Discussion and Case:

– Planning next day patient(s)

Introduction to using Romexis:

– Planmeca CBCT software
